I like to think of myself as a very compassionate individual for people or individuals that need assistance. My background in EMS as an EMT has led me to my job as a medical assistant. I find it rewarding to connect to my patients and give them the comfort of knowing that I am there to help them in their time of need. I enjoy knowing that on a daily basis that I can make a difference in someone's life. Knowing this is very fulfilling, but the best of all is when the patient thanks you for giving them an a little extra time, encouraging them or just being there to listen.
