I provide direct supervision and instruction to individuals who reside within the homes to which they are assigned. I was involved in preparation or assisting with the rehabilitation plans, assisting in the development and implementation of such plans, and preparation/maintenance of progress reports. I was to provide direct care to residents in a comprehensive program that is therapeutic and rehabilitative way. While maintaining consistency, structure and accountability for each individual resident. I would supervisor and ensuring the safety of all residents, implement program activities and follow the daily schedule. I also must transport residents to appointments, court, hospitals, meetings and outings. I must implement therapeutic group and individual discussions. I serviced individuals who are developmentally and physically challenged. I must implement goals and procedural objectives. I document all aspect of the individuals needs including having to administrating medications, personal hygiene, I supervise individuals and function at all times as an advocate. I have to provide escort service for them to take them from place to place. I perform dietary duties, shopping duties and annual and quarterly reviews. I write up daily reporting on the individuals as well. I do many activities with and for the individuals. This was just a temporary position. Assisted patients with daily functions. I was helping the children with their work and homework. I would help with art class. Prepare the students for plays and trips that we did, and keep the children on task.
