I am a very passionate about caring for others. I am an empathetic, caring person by nature. I am trustworthy and dependable. I have a vast amount of experience due to the fact I am a former nurse. I love getting to know people and am very good at helping patients formulate a routine that is both realistic and ideal for their circumstances. A plan that takes into account the family dynamics and is mutually beneficial hopefully.

I started caregiving in 1998 after feeling like I needed more enrichment from my life. As a result, I met a nurse in the hospital while visiting a friend, she asked me if I would visit a patient of hers that was really sad and ready to die. I said of course and went in and sat down and started talking with her, Her health was good, she was just sad and lonely so I visited her the next day. We talked for an hour before I asked her to let me wheel her outside to see the beautiful day we were having. The next day she was sitting up waiting for me and took her medication for me, she ate. Two years later I was driving her to operas, shopping, attorneys offices and luncheons with her friends. Soon after that I started taking care of my other patient who had a stoke which made him physically and mentally handicapped. I started in 2000 and continued until he passed away in 2021. The care that he required was very intense and challenging for me but it only took a few days to perfect our routine. He lived a happy and carefree life until he passed away in March of 2021. I believe I can give the same care and love to your loved one if you choose to hire me.
