I have been a caregiver pretty much my whole adult life even before I became an adult. Taking care of my nieces and nephews as a teenager. Then after high school I decided to go to school for Nursing. Got my associate degree in 1988 for RN. Mean while I was working in skilled facilities as an aide. Worked as a nurse in a couple skilled facilities for about 3yrs. Then had children and took time off of Nursing to raise my children. Now I'm back in to what I know and enjoy working in geriatrics. I learn so much from them. I have been working on a memory care unit for about 2 yrs and just feel I want to give a more individualized care. Looking forward to meeting my future clients and give them my TLC. Thank you!
