Not only to be professional and establish a career, working as a Nursing Assistant has became very personal and close to my heart. I started taking care of my Great Grandmother in 2008 when she started to get Alzheimer's and dementia. I took care of her, even when her care was out of my ability, when she passed away in 2014 my heart was set on the medical and nursing field. As it being something that I have put many years and emotions in to, I've learned to be a successful caregiver and aide, you have to be made of both empathy and compassion, patient and understanding, being reliable and flexible, along with trustworthy. Ultimately, we are the person a patient, or client, rely on.
