I've always had a passion for the medical field, which has led me to getting my CNA where I spent about 6 months caring for elderly, transporting them, bringing in meals and medication and just talking and listening to them. I have cared for dying family members to give them the best quality of life in their last days. I've assisted in cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, doctors appointments ect. I now have my national certified medical assistant and certified phlebotomy license. I have mostly worked in a clinical setting but wanted to try something new. The last 5 years I worked in a pain management clinic where we treated mostly elderly patients who had chronic pain and the feeling I get when they are in tears saying thank you because they can finally have a normal life pain free is priceless! I am compassionate and patient and have a family of my own and have been on the other side of things and would want nothing but the best for my loved ones and that is what I am hoping to bring to this company. I wanted to become a caregiver because most of these clients are lonely and sometimes doctors appointments or home aides are the most human interaction they get these days, so simply having someone to talk to can change a persons whole outlook.
