Since I was little I knew my purpose was to be help others in need. I'm a responsible, reliable, and respectful person. I've worked full-time while being a full-time college student. Although I am working full-time, I miss being a caregiver and this is why I'm so excited to be here. I start my journey of nursing school this August 2021. I'm a companionate, patient caregiver, and I always put my residents first. I became a caregiver to get hands on experience with taking care of others and being able to be there for them. I enjoy having time with my residents, getting to know what works better for them (carewise), and being able to be there to support them. I worked in a memory care unit before, and was able to find ways to make my residents feel safe and I gained their trust. I made sure to let them know who I was every time they asked, and found ways to help them cope when not remembering things. Memory care taught me how to gain more CNA skills by making me a better and stronger caregiver. I am proud of never giving up on my dreams no matter what challenge I may have. I'll always do my best to care for your loved one and make sure their safety comes first. I believe it's important letting my residents and their families know that they're not alone.
