When i was in high school i used to do lots of community service at our local Assisted Living in Canadian, Tx. I'd enjoy helping with puzzles, playing dominos, and even just hearing friendly conversations about others around. I'd also help out when the residents would go out enjoy the fresh air and get to go on trips out to see ranches or local stores. I personally have always felt so attached to residents just cause i never really grew up with grandparents and having them around just felt loving. I love being able to grow with them and seeing so much history they love to tell us about. Personally i have learned a lot by growing in different families lives I've learned different situations residents have gone through and how to adapt to them.
