I have a current adult, pediatric and infant first aid and CPR certificate, a food handlers certificate and flu shot. I am responsible, observant, personable, creative, communicate effectively, am an excellent listener, enjoy evoking laughter. I value independence and dignity while having fun. I worked for several years specifically with children of special needs and found my niche with seniors. I love being a Caregiver ! I worked in corporate America selling HP and IBM Computers for twenty plus years until my dear father suffered a heart attack. A few days later, I left my job to help my mom care for him. Shortly after he died, my beloved mom suffered a massive stroke and I cared for her for 9 years until her passing 3 years ago. I realized shortly after she passed that care giving was what I wanted to do as career. Currently, I love working alongside my clients, helping them accomplish their goals and having them feel a sense of happiness !

I enjoy helping people when they are at home and not ready to go to a facility. I come from a big family so I have had a lot of experience with errands and helping the elderly. I like to shop and cooking as well as being a companion. I've worked with a lot of men and women over the years and learned from each one. I've had CNA training and have worked in faculties but I always come back to In-Home service that I love.
