Hello, I have been doing care giving for 18 years. I started out with my son whom is disabled. The reason I got into this field was mainly my son, but after wards became to love and have a passion for it. There is nothing better then a feeling knowing that the one you love is in good hands and will be taken care of the way you would want them to be taken care of. I am passionate, caring, calm and have a lot of patience's. The one thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is the reward knowing that you have helped someone's day be brighter even if it was sitting down having a conversation, or cleaning up. I have worked in Adult Foster Care homes as well as Group homes supporting individuals with mental and developmental disabilities. I have also worked one on one in peoples person homes helping with ADL's meal prep, house cleaning. I started out young house keeping as my mother owned her own business , and I learned from her. I have many years experience in house keeping. However, I know everyone is different and likes things done their way. Show/tell me once and that's all it takes.

As of October 4, 2022 I'm current with all COVID-19 vaccine shots and on Oct 4, 2022 I got the newest booster shot. I have been a IP ( Independent Provider ) Hospice/CNA nurse for 10 plus years now after obtaining my license in 2011. But been a caregiver for over twenty years now. My certification includes experience working with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Cancer, Autism, Mental Health, Nurse Delegation, Sundowner's, Stroke/Brain Bleed, Stroke with AFO brace, Cerebral Palsy, PSP ( Progressive Supranuclear Palsy) and Diabetes. I am CPR certified. I have my own transportation, non smoker, and have a clean driving record. I love working with people, but my passion is to work with senior citizens. I enjoy reading, cooking, scrapbooking, listening to music, love doing puzzles and playing with my three small dogs. I am handy in both house and yard work. The part I love most about what I do is the smiles and enjoyment that I can see on my clients faces from the care and help I give them. My most recent work has consisted of taking care of a ninety-six year old sweet lady with Dementia/cancer.
