I have worked with the elderly and disabled in the past and done some private in home care giving. I am very comfortable with cleaning and cooking and running errands. I am eager to learn! I love being a Caregiver ! I worked in corporate America selling HP and IBM Computers for twenty plus years until my dear father suffered a heart attack. A few days later, I left my job to help my mom care for him. Shortly after he died, my beloved mom suffered a massive stroke and I cared for her for 9 years until her passing 3 years ago. I realized shortly after she passed that care giving was what I wanted to do as career. Currently, I love working alongside my clients, helping them accomplish their goals and having them feel a sense of happiness !

I became a caregiver in order to care for my grandparents. I love old people... I always have, they are always thankful for any help they get and I'm very good at helping. I love my profession and I'm very good at my job! I have been trained how to give proper care in many different situations.

I've always taken care of people. I feel like it's what I was born to do. Care taking all started with my family. Im the oldest of 4 with 3 little brothers. So I babysat quite a bit. Ive done multiple jobs but it seems that caretaking is where I belong. Ive done private care, helping with chores or duties, traveling to appointments, and in home care. I'm capable of doing most anything asked of me. I am taking care of my grandma 2 days a week and that makes me extremely happy to get to spend extra time together.

After helping a family member through recovery from hip replacement surgery and then her struggles with developing dementia , I realized I found a deep satisfaction in providing much needed assistance to people facing personal physical challenges, whether temporary or long-term. I am compassionate, observant, warm, and responsive to individuals and families needing to recover and recharge, and make it my goal to be the beast part of a bad day. After facing some of my own personal challenges and overcoming a great deal of adversity, I returned to school as a adult learner and completed my degree before returning too the workforce.

Hi my name is Cici and I have been taking care of people at 15. I took care of great uncle who dying from cancer and a couple of brain sickness. I love doing that so much I have that I got my CNA certificate and and my EMT. Now I am going to school to get my RN because I want to make it a career of taking care of loved ones doesn't matter the age. I also believe I'm the best care giver out there never been fired and never had a bad thing said about me. Working in the medical field is so important to me that my daughter is falling in the same footsteps.

I was turning 18 and I was told I needed to work that my schooling was over....Immediately I started searching for a job that gave me flexibility and helped others....so I was a first female Chicago Firefighter....I then moved back to Calif. and put myself through school to become a nurse....I did 10 years in the emergency room, then home health, hospice, pediatrics special needs, elderly. I like to think fast on my feet and I became pretty good at nursing....I gain respect from the doctors that I have worked with for my ability to describe the need a patient has even if it's immediate......I am a cheerful, responsible, giving individual that would help thoses who ask..

I became a caregiver because my aunt was diagnosed with a brain disease. At a young age I began taking care of her. I made her meals, helped bathe her and made sure she took her medication. Once I hit my teenage years my great grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Dementia. It was me responsibility to take care of her after school until bed time. This is when I truly fell in love with care taking. My dad then graduated from college and became an Executive Director or retirement communities. My family used to visit him and work. The communities he has worked for have had an incredible impact on myself. In my early 20's I worked in an assisted living community and took care of a quadriplegic man. My passion only grew as the years weld went on. I truly have a passion for caretaking and getting to know people.

The bond that was created between my past residents and I is something I will never be able to forget!
