Hi my names Veronica and after helping take care of my grandfather who struggled fighting cancer I had decided my true passion and joy came from helping others. While in high school I decided to obtain my CNA/GNA license where I then got a job working in long term and rehabilitation care at a nursing home near my house. While I was very proud of my academics, I was most proud that I had received many awards such as Player of the Year while leading my field hockey team. After graduating I went on to play Division III Field Hockey while studying to be a naturopathic physician. Now I'm completing my schooling online while working in a dementia facility near Howard Community College. I find my love for sports is a great conversation topic with my patients as well as my ability to show respect and treat others with kindness comes in handy when working as a care manager.
