With being a great caregiver I believe it's a must that you have patience, compassion as well as being trustworthy and dependable. I watched my mother take care of the elderly and disabled my whole life and just watching her be able to put a smile on the face of a person and their families just because she takes great care of them was enough to make me want to spread those same smiles. One of the things I enjoyed most about being a caregiver was being able to make a person smile, laugh or even comfortable enough to talk to me when they were having the worst day. I have achieved a lot of things that seemed big to my peers but I feel my greatest achievement is yet to come.
