Some personality traits that I believe help make me a great caregiver are, I am reliable as well as dependable. I am also optimistic and encouraging, as well as trusting. I truly believe that you have to be trusting when working in a field that allows you to work so closely with the people that you care so deeply about. What attracted me to being a caregiver, is the love I have for people in general. I love helping other's help themselves, as well as teaching them ways of living without felling as if they are losing their independence. This is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver as well. Not to mention their company. To finish my personal achievement as a caregiver, would be working with the individual families, allowing them a quality of life to be able to stay within their own homes, and the feel of feeling like family.
