I love the interaction, the closeness and the level of respect I can give as an outsider. I have plenty of references. I am skilled with Medicare insurance and DME companies to get supplies so patients don't have to pay out of pocket so they can get what they need to stay home. I have worked with doctors and agencies to get care that is needed. My patients become family and I take care of them as such. I have worked with loved ones that have Alzheimer's, Dementia, ALS, and everything in between. I am very good at my job and I do very much take a lot of stress off the family members. I I am very good at my job and care deeply for the people I take care and treat them as I would my own. I have always made sure I am worth what I make. And if I can make their days better than my day is better!! My pay depends on hours and job. It is not set in stone. Also, I have had calls from people that have wasted my time. Please don't waste my time. I love what I do and am very good at it, I have plenty of experience and can get anything for my patients. So, when people waste my time it takes away from my patients.

What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? I am outgoing, personable, trustworthy, and reliable. I have my Bachelors Degree in Nursing and I have 5+ years experience involving nursing home care and hospital care. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I thoroughly enjoy helping people. While working in the nursing home, I was able to create trusting relationships and see improvements in those I took care because they knew they could count on me. Even in the hospital setting, I am able to see how my role as a caregiver can impact others lives even for the short amount of time that they are in our care. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? The relationships that are built and knowing that, even if its a little, my actions are able to help a person live a better life. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? I am proud of the family I have built with my husband and going through school to receive my Bachelors Degree. I am also proud of how hard working and dedicated I am when it pertains to work and any other priorities.
