I have worked as a nanny/house manager or nanny/home helper for over 10 years. I am currently between families and started to think I should expand my search for a new job. I decided to look into senior care as it is as close to what I have done for the last several years. I have been responsible for children of families, laundry, pick up of things in home, errands, driving children to and from school or activities, pet care, and all general household functions. I have enjoyed working with children and families for many years now. I find myself to be someone who can adapt to what a family needs and have had to do so for this type of position. I have prepared snacks and meals also. I have done some type of caregiving most of my life. It seems to suit me. I would hope that I could help seniors and their families just as much.
