I am a good listener and will double check to make sure that what is asked of me to do is correct.My past and present clients are and have given me great recommendations for my caring attitude. As a small girl, I always wanted to help the elderly and anyone less fortunate than me.I was raised by 2 very loving, church going parents. The most important thing I love about being a caregiver is the gratification of knowing that I am appreciated in my responsibilities. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is doing the smallest things to get that gratitude.

I have been in healthcare for awhile now. I've worked with dementia patients, hospice patients, and most diseases or disabilities you can think of. Healthcare and assisting people in general has been what I've wanted to do since I was a child and I'm now fulfilling that dream. Taking care of those who once took care of us! I enjoy being a caregiver because knowing the fact that I can make someone's life a little easier by assisting them with simple tasks makes me feel so much joy. I truly love what I do.

I became a CNA/caregiver/home health aide because I honestly believe in truly compassionate care for people in need whether is the geriatrics, pediatrics, or the mentally impaired or psych or a combination of all the above. I enjoy knowing that I have helped someone get through another day on this earth with their family and if they don't have any family at least they know someone was there for them when it was needed and proof that there are still nice, caring, and honest people out there.

I'm a fun and loving person. I take pride in what I do and do it to the best of my abilities. I enjoy helping others with everyday activities. This is more than a job to me, it's an opportunity to help where I can, meet new people and learn from others as well.

I have been a CNA for 15 years and an HHA for 2 years I also am CPR AED and first aide certified. I am a newly wed and a mother of 3, I also cared for my grandparents in their time of need.

I have always enjoyed helping and taking care of people whether it is total care or just assisting with their daily activities. I am compassionate and patient which are two important traits when you're working in this field. Anything I can do to help improve someone's quality of life is rewarding at the end of the day. I am very blessed that I was able to take care of my parents and helped them live and die with dignity and this is also my goal for my clients. Whether it's doing a puzzle or just listening to stories, it's all worth the time.

I wake up everyday and the first thing I think about is helping others in need. I like being a care giver because I'm naturally a compassionate person and I want to help improve their life. I have helped many people improve their daily life in such a sort amount of time. I am currently in nursing school to become an RN. It has been my dream to be a nurse. I love seeing people heal and continue on with their life.

I am naturally personable , caring and very patient. When I first started at Twin Oaks I was nervous but I absolutely love the feeling of helping some one. They have taken care of us our whole lives; it's time to return the favor. I really enjoy talking with each person I meet and helping with anything they need. I am a level-headed health-care professional who remains calm and effective in extremely difficult and stressful situations. I have strong beliefs in the importance of companionship and in patient care. I've worked with children, rehabilitation for those recovering from surgeries, elders whom need nothing but a companion, people suffering Alzheimer's and/or Dementia, and also with individuals who have physical and/or mental disabilities. I myself was born with a mild form of Cerebral Palsy but, never let it stand in the way. I grew up in the healthcare field because of my dad who has been a nurse my whole life and would bring me to work with him so I could play bingo with the residents. Ultimately I chose this career path though because, in 2013 my mom was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and after being admitted into the hospital I spent weekends by her side and sadly saw first-hand that the staff were not giving her proper care. Shortly after her being hospitalized I decided to drop out even with it being my senior year. I started classes to obtain my GED and also registered at Indiana Healthcare Professionals and the day of her funeral was my first day of classes to become a Certified Nursing Assistant which I successfully completed in June of 2014.I love the healthcare industry because I have found a little piece of my mom in everyone I've assisted; which is why, giving my best is never questioned. I plan to start school again in the near future to become an elementary school special education teacher. At the very least my experience as a CNA has prepared me for my next path.
