My name is Adrianna but you can call me Addy if that's easier to remember. I am 21 years old and live in Spottsville, KY. I'm a very calm and collected person and I enjoy helping others. I was first drawn to being a caregiver when my grandmother was ill and I had to step up and care for her. Being a caregiver isn't easy and back then I didn't get a break. Now that I've become a professional caregiver I take pride in allowing families to have a break from being in that role as well as giving my client someone new to talk to and trust. The most rewarding part about being a caregiver for me is being one of the people aiding in someone's recovery, or knowing I have been part in making someone's last month's bearable and enjoyable. And if I am able to do that I count that as the biggest achievement I could ever manage.

My name is Danna Biggs and I'm 60 years old..I am now a Indiana Certified Nursing Assistant.I live in Evansville Indiana I have been a caretaker for over 20 years I m drawn to it because it's what I love to do.Assisting individuals with tasks as needed makes me feel like I'm a actually making a difference in their quality of life.Ive worked with individuals in their home and I've assisted individuals in a Nursing home and in hospital.Ive assisted the individuals with adls,cooking,cleaning etc and out in community with shopping concerts,to appointments and to work or day program or activity.I also administered medications ,and documented in Mars.I can document on paper or on computer.I worked with Special Needs, sometimes mentally disadvantaged sometimes mentally and physically handicapped or just physically disabled.Im dependable and will work my scheduled hours and even overtime if necessary or as needed.I treat all my clients or individuals with care and respect and dignity.The individuals are safe and in good hands with me.

I am a very compassionate and caring person. I get along very well with people older than me. I currently work at an assisted living facility and am loved by all of the residents. I enjoy listening to stories of the past. I started out as a medical assistant at an Ob/Gyn office which I worked at for about 10 years until I started a family. I then took over the care of my grandmother when she suffered a stroke and was not able to walk because I did not want her in a facility. I was later employed by a company in Florida to be the care taker of my mother who suffered from COPD until she passed in 2016. My greatest joy is seeing a smile on someones face. The most rewarding thing about being a caregiver is bringing joy to someone for one more day.

Hi, My name is Christian. I'm 38 years young. I'm a wide to my wonderful husband for 3 years now. I'm a dog mom. My husband & I own 2 Bearded Dragons, 6 Leopard Geckos, 2 Fire Skinks, 1 Blue Tongue Skink, 1 Giant Galliwasp, 1 Brown Anole, 1 30 gallon fish tank with all kinds of fish in it. I'm a great listener. I've been a caregiver since i was 15 years old. I can do almost anything that is asked of me to do within a reason while caring for your family member. I took care of my neighbor when i lived with my parents starting at 15 yeqrs old, i would go over and make his food, do meal prep for him, i would sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, wash dishes, wash/dry/fold laundry, sweep his stairs, sweep sidewalks, swovel snow in the winter off of side walk and porches, i would help him pay his bills, keep track of medications, take him to run errands, take him to go outneat and take him to all of his appointments. What attracted me the most to being a caregiver is that I love being around other people. I enjoy taking care of others, I enjoy the meeting new people. I love helping others take care of there homes and their family. My personal traits are that I'm outgoing, energetic, funny, compassionate, reliable, and easy going. My personal achievements are; I'm most proud of is that I saved a 3 year old from choking to death when I worked in a restaurant. I'm very goal oriented, very driven at my job, im very motivated, i enjoy doing and trying new things, always on time. I'm a huge animal lover.

I have been a caregiver for 5 years and I've always loved helping people. I am patient, caring and always try to be in a good mood! I love helping people. I am a 46yr old married mother of 2 adult sons. I have always enjoyed helping people. I have worked with developmentally disabled people to severely mentally I'll people and each individual had so many unique qualities and everyone of them had something to offer in their community. They taught me to be a much more patient,attentive and to be a great listener. Not just to hear but listen and I believe that's so very important for a person to be heard. At the end of the day if I'm able to reflect back on my day and know I've done my very best for my clients and hopefully made their quality of life that much better then I can truely say I had a great day and hopefully positively impacted those I've interacted with on that day.
