Looking back at myself as a child, I was always drown to others who had no friends, or were look down upon, like our smart and intelligent neighbor with down syndrome, I found myself standing up for him, even to confront his father who was ashamed of him. And he started to pay attention to his son and later thanks me. Been in my later teen, I didn't realize why he thanked me for until later when I became a caregiver. I remember my mom and dad's words of wisdom. Your character is like your shadow, it never goes away, but you can do better with positive example. I have been a certified EMT since 2004 and have gained extensive experience working at Northwell Health, where I served for 12 years. Currently, I am enrolled in nursing school, furthering my education to expand my skills and enhance my contributions to patient care. I do have a car available, I am unable to transport a patient in my vehicle. This is due to the fact that the insurance policy covering the car is not in my name, and therefore, I do not have the appropriate coverage to ensure the safety and liability required for such transportation. $30.00 per hour
