I became a caregiver when I was still in the Philippines. My father had a heart surgery and I saw how the nurses and caregivers took care of my father. They became my inspiration. When I was still living in Illinois at first I took care of an older lady and later on I also took care of her husband, they became my "parents", it gives me a great deal of joy and fulfillment to see them get well, thrive and happy with the care that I provided to them. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Patient Care Technician, I also have a certificate in BLS (Basic Life Support) I have and extensive 8 years experience as a caregiver, 1 year nursing assistant in an assisted living facility and a 10 months experience as Patient Care Technician.
