Worked full ,part time then PRN. I worked all shifts.I Was taking care of up to 13 residents a day. Of all population.. ie... Dementia, Parkinsons,residents who have had a stroke, long term residents and short term physical therapy residents. Amputees, bariactic residents as well as residents on ventilators. Feeding tubes, colostomy patients. Duties included ADL'S bathing,range of motion, transfers 1 person ,two person lift as well as mechanical lifts...hoyer lifts, sit to stand. Slide board, gait belt .Vital signs, toileting every 2 hours. Turning and positioning every 2 hours . Feeding , assist in ambulating, 15 minute checks on all who were safety risk.all aspects of infection control. Charting and report any and all changes seen to charge nurse.
