BUilding Independence Together - Summerville, SC January 2018 to November 2018 *Teach sign language to nonverbal autistic kids *Teach sounds, imitation, echoic, and receptive language, through PLAY *Help other therapists implement client resources such as visual schedules. - Collect and illustrate data (e.g., graphing), and up-date case logs and inventory lists as necessary. - Communicate program changes and other information to relevant team members before those team members see clients. - Relay questions and information from a variety of sources (e.g., parents, teachers, other therapists) to the managing BCBA. - Provide input on activities and programs, help determine program needs, and facilitate the development of behavior modification plans. - Attend and participate in team meetings to convey and gather the information necessary to the provision and performance of therapeutic and behavior analytic duties. - Attend sessions and appointments as scheduled and follow the protocol for schedule changes. - Respect ethically and socially appropriate personal and professional boundaries. - Ask the managing BCBA for help regarding who/what/when/where/why/however needed! - Follow through with task assigned or assistance requested by the managing BCBA.
