I became a caregiver because I love and care about people and respect everyone. What was the main reason I chose being a caregiver was because when I was a child i had a handicap aunt. When everyone was outside playing I was in the house assisting and aiding her needs. My aunt was born handicap and therefore has always been in a wheelchair her entire life. She never got the chance to walk or enjoy life but I tried my hardest to help her see the happiness I did for the world. The main reason I like being a caregiver is just helping people enjoy what they may have lost due to age or handicap. It's a pleasure knowing I'm the reason someone is smiling and satisfied wherever they may be in their life. A personal achievement I'm proud of, is being a parent. There's something so rewarding about knowing I'm the reason each of my three children are so well adjusted and comfortable in their lives. In general I'm just a very nurturing and funny person. I try to make the best out of every situation and go above and beyond to make people comfortable. I'm a non confrontational individual and I try my hardest to make those around see the positives in life.
