I love people and think we should all be treated with respect and kindness. I started caregiving due to the fact of both of my son's great-grandparents were diagnosed with dementia. I did not want them to be placed in a home or separated. Then after both of them passed away, I sadly went back to my wrecker service. Worked only two weeks and decided this is not what God wants me to do. So I went to work for Kelly's assisted living as an on-call coordinator and doing PCA work during the day. Then Mr Hartman came into my life he suffered from MS completely quadriplegic I was told I would be lucky if he lived 5 years. He became a father to me I kept him alive with the grace of God for over 20 years. He was a very large man that was bed bound but everybody was amazed that he only had one bed sore the entire time I took care of him. I do not have a problem with any pets and helping take care of them. I also will help your loved one with grocery shopping all ADLs and housekeeping.I love to make people smile. I have a quirky sense of humor. I also worked in a facility under memory Care. I just hope as I age someone will care for me as I have cared for the people in my life. I believe in Holistic Healing & Compassionate Care. I enjoy being a caregiver because it allows me to make a positive impact on someone's life, provide support, and show empathy. It provides a sense of fulfillment and purpose when I help those in need. I find great satisfaction in making a difference in others' lives. I'm compassionate, patient, empathic, adaptable, great communicator, dependable, respectful, great problem solver, attentive and a firm believer in self care. I am immensely proud of having had the privilege to provide hospice care for my mother during her battle with cancer. Also I take great pride in having been the caregiver for my uncle during his battle with stage 5 kidney failure. It was a deeply challenging and emotional journey, but being there to offer comfort, support, and love during their final moments brought a profound sense of fulfillment. It's an experience that will forever hold a special place in my heart, and I'm grateful to have been there for them in their time of need. My farther has high blood pressure & COPD, I am grateful to be a shining light during those critical moments, providing comfort, peace and a piece of mind to his daily life. I bring the same level of care to all my clients.
