I became a caregiver because I'm passionate about helping people in need. I'm a very patient,and dedicated person. Every day is planned according to each persons interests, ability, and needs. My greatest achievements have been helping individuals maintain a sense of independence. I have cared for clients that were going through various stages of Alzheimer's or dementia. I am a fun and loving person and take pride in my care plan. There are so many people that have blessed my life with their love and kindess, great stories and wisdom. It is a pleasure to be there for them and their loved ones in a time of need.

I became a caregiver because I have always loved the medical field and also helping people. It is the most fulfilling job to have. I put my whole heart into taking care of not only their needs but I am their friend as well. Someone who they can always trust. I don't just like being a caregiver, I absolutely love it. To be able to help someone and care for them the way they truly need to be is the best feeling in the world. I am most proud of my care giving job at the moment. I take care of a paralyzed man. I have been trained as a CNA on the job but I don't have my certification, however also do housework. Feed him. Bathe him. Get him in and out of bed. I do everything he needs. This job humbles me daily for him to be so happy in his condition. I have taken up quickly and learnt a lot. That's my proudest accomplishment. One thing about me, very hard worker with the biggest heart you'll ever meet. I put everything into making sure he is taken care of, and happy. I always knew this was the field I was called to be in.
