What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? I've always had a big heart when it comes to helping others, I believe empathy/compassion is very important, especially when it comes to the medical field. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I had a lot of health issues growing up and was constantly going to the Dr's for checkups. I learned so much from my Dr's/Nurses, that's when my love for my medical field started. They had such a great impact on my life and still do to this day. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? I love getting to know my patient/family, i've learned a lot from them. I want to be able to care for them the way I want to be cared for if I should need care one day. The feeling of helping someone and potential saving someones life is so rewarding. It feels great to do something positive with my time. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? As a caregiver, i've had many proud and rewarding moments with my patients. I was the first to graduate in my family and go to college. Getting my CNA/Med Tech right out of high school has been really rewarding in many ways. Just being a helpful hand to patients and they're families is the best feeling.
