Greetings! My name is Lindsay Motes, and I have extensive experience working as a professional caregiver with ages 4 up to seniors. Here is a snapshot of information about me: After receiving my B.A. in Music Education, I continued with school and completed a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Family Psychology. I have effective communication skills, and find that having an open, honest, and empathetic approach towards others is the best way to find out my client's needs. Additionally, I take a solution-focused approach to all situations in my personal and professional life. For many years I have worked with foster children and veterans. I was responsible for securing a stable and loving home for the children who came from abusive and neglectful situations. I also learned a great deal about childhood and adulthood trauma, and have helped many people face and overcome obstacles that hinder them due to the traumatic events in their past and current situations. I help my client's identify their physical, emotional, and mental health needs and empower them with the tools to meet those needs successfully. What a rewarding experience it is for both of us and our family's! In closing, I would like to mention that I have been fortunate to meet and work with people from a variety of backgrounds. I consistently provide a sincere, caring, and empathetic approach to everyone I meet. I am a devoted advocate of diversity, equality, and inclusion, and I am a team player!
