I thoroughly love what I do. I enjoy working with my clients, which become like family to me. My clients needs and comfort are my number one priority. I am dependable and responsible. After taking care of my mother and father in law who were both treated for cancer. I saw the emotional and physical toll that it takes. I decided that I wanted to help other families with the support they need to take care of their loved ones when in need.

i became a caregiver because at a young age my grandfather passed away from cancer seeing the nurses and caregivers come and go helping him out made me want to return the same favor. i enjoy care giving because i get to hear stories from the past and i get to have a bond with the client and family as well but i have to keep professional. i also worked for schools as a teachers assistant working with students with disabilities so it encouraged me to look into care giving , and knowing that im giving back and helping the family out. my personal achievement im proud of is that i dont give up with what ever obstetrical comes my way and i keep moving forward. i enjoy being with my family and loved ones spending quality time together and just having fun. i enjoy cutting hair mens hair and im looking to get into barber school some time soon.

I feel like I am a great caregiver because I have such a big heart. I want to make people smile and laugh even when they aren't feeling the best or up to it. What attracted me to being a caregiver was knowing that I could be someone that counted on. Being a caregiver is not the easiest job in the world. You come across mini different scenarios that you may or may not know how to react to. You have to tell yourself you have to do what's best for the resident. You have to be somebody that is able to give them support through it all. Being a caregiver also has great benefits to knowing that you can go home and think I made that person's day. Or even such as I was the last person they talked to before they said goodbye. I was the last person that they wanted holding their hand as they passed. Bing caregiver is more than just a nurse. Being a caregiver is a completely different lifestyle.

Because it is my passion. I like to care about the hospice thingy and especially kids. I'm proud of being a caregiver because all my patients loves to be with me, because I'm happy to be with and easy to mingle. I'm 59 years old, Half Filipina-Half Chinese. I'm married, I have 7 kids but 2 of them lives with me at the Hollister. My husband doesn't have a work, neither my 17 year old daughter. I became a caregiver because I wanted to know how to take care of my ailing grandfather. In 2002 I had applied and got into the CNA program at Sun bridge Care facility in Watsonville, CA. I helped my grandmother with my grandpa until he passed than I started working with Sun Bridge in 2003 for a few years. I like to talk, and love to listen to all of those important life lessons and interesting lives they had led. I have learned so much while working as a CNA, I loved it. I have now achieved one of my goals and that is to get into Nursing School, and become a nurse. I always wanted to become a nurse and now I am. I am a mother of 3 and I have so much patience and care to give. I am very careful and have a lot of experience with the elderly. I am currently a Licensed Vocational Nurse and I am seeking a dependable position to apply my nursing knowledge and provide the best possible care to each and every patient.
