I become a caregiver when i started working as part time and i realized, how big impact my rules for the elderly who's in need of our care. I like what i am doing since then and Im so proud of what I accomplished each time I finished my shift. I didn't realize , someone like me can be useful and Helpful and that makes me happy to go home knowing that i did something good to my clients and their family. I may not everything they need but I am very caring, confident of what Im doing , compassionate and trust worthy with dignity, caring loving and have a great sense of humor to make my client smile in my presence. I have more than 30 years as a caregiver. Some of that experience has been working with the alzhiemers population and private care with others condition like cuadriplegia, multiple sclerosis and others. My best interest is to provide good care to my clients.

1. I became a caregiver through the inspiration of my late mother. She was in a vegetative state for almost 2 yrs. due to massive stroke. Reinvented myself from working in the corporate world (banking) to moving in the healthcare field. It's a different experience where one found joy and accomplishment working with the elderly. My salary rate is negotiable depending on client's needs. 2. Being a caregiver is very personal to me.. My focus is always the well-being & safety of my client. 3. Being a caregiver entails a lot of patience, compassion and experience to be able to understand every client's specific needs. . I try to keep a balance of everything I do to maintain my physical and psychological well-being. 4. I consider myself as energetic, strong-willed and resourceful. In my former job I was the lead CNA supervising 3 caregivers working 12 hrs. shift 24/7 in our client's own home. My relationship with my client & the family I've worked with has been very pleasant. Being a caregiver for 15 years has helped me in so many ways, I have worked in Sarah Care Elderly Daycare with Alzheimer's and dementia, in private homes with diabetes, hypertension, stroke, etc... I love what I do because taking care of clients who need my help, gives me joy in my heart. I enjoy having the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference. I appreciate the chance to get to know the clients and their family and become an integral part of their lives. A personal achievement I am proud of would have to be making others happy. When i first allow to work here in the united states, and this is the first job i was trying, i was train well by the agency they hire me, and since that day, ive been working as a caregiver, ive learn alot open myself to my client, being patient and be an organize person, i really love and enjoy being a caregiver when my client with a big bright smile on her face after i did a good job for her especially when i give her a bath dress her up put on her make up fix her hair, always a big joy shows from her or him, ive learn to be patient, love unconditional, respect, polite, but most of all open your mind and yourself to who ever you are taking care ....

I am a mother of four lovely girls. Ages 21,19, 17 and 11 yrs. old. I graduated as Bachelor Nutrition and Dietetics 1996 and been Registered Dietetians in the Philippines now I am studying Nutrition here in CA to pursue my career for as Registered Dietitian CA for my success is my kids success to help them and inspire them..I will work since 2004 as Caregiver and until now....I love working as a caregiver and be able to help our seniors for they like my extended family for i am been orphans since i was 16 yrs. old so happy to be able to help and by caring with sencerity the family became like my extended family... because Ilost my parents early my children longing grand parents.... me and my husband lost our parents early... My husband lost his mom at age 12 and me i lost my dad i was only 4 years old and my mom at 16 years old so my patients become my extended family to me.... all of my patients even they die now all of there family been my extended family still have a communications with them... so I am a compassionate and loving person so glad to help who needs my help... i love to be your extended family with Tender Loving Care whenever i work with my patients! As pursuing my education and working also with kids part time job as Instructional Assistant for more than five years at Oak Grove School District.... so I can say I love kids and senior too!
