Hello I tend to be more on the positive side like to see the person smile. Getting to know the person listening to the person telling me about the amazing life. I had a brother who passed from cancer and a mother who passed from dementia. After caring and helping both mother and brother I felt very compassionate for others. Spending time with the person listening to the life stories or experiences they've gone through. The person in my care having a Positive experience while in my care.

I grew up helping seniors I knew and have always loved doing so. I love being needed and feeling like I am making their life better, happier, healthier. I am an empathic soul and have compassion for people hurting or needing help. Greetings, I've discovered that regardless of someones health condition or disability everyone deserves to have a good quality life and to be happy, thats way I became a "Compassionate Caregiver" it is so important to provide compassionate care to thoughes that need caring for. One of my good friends was in a car accident that left him as a Quadriplegic, now being such a young man, he became very depress with life and I had a problem with that so I decided to learn how to care for him and I did just that. I started by being Trained by the Healthcare facility free of charge were he lived. I started class room and hands on training for eight weeks and I had taken a CPR course. I did this so my friend could have a quality life. I also taken a course on how to transfer Quadriplegic patients so that I could transfer him the correct way from his wheel chair to my car and from the car to his wheelchair and back into the facility were he was living, that alowed us to go places, Dr appointments and places he liked going to. Then he stoprd looking at his self deficiencies but instead, he started loving life once again and loving people and we made the best of things. So he begin enjoying are times together once again just like old times and thats how I became a Home Healthcare Provider.

I started caregiving for elderly and disabled in high school for family friends for several families . I later was a pharmacy technician for many years and worked as a care taker for several of my customers. I was chosen because I was reliable, patient and treated them like they were my family.
