I became a caregiver when a relative became disabled, and continued to be a caregiver because I enjoyed the experience of learning from the individuals I cared for, and I enjoyed seeing that they get the care they need and deserve. I enjoy doing errands and cooking for the ones I care for. It also gave me insite to awareness of what to expect in situations and how to handle them. Personalizing care for the individual has taught me a lot. I am proud that I have learned patience and understanding that I didn't know was in me. I am a caring person, and I believe everyone should be treated with respect and dignity, no matter what their circumstances is when It comes to the people I care for. I usually go above and beyond at times to make them happy.
