I became a caregiver because I love to help people. Adults and Children. This is what I like best about being a caregiver, knowing that I have the ability to make someone's day a little better, make someone a little happier. I am proud of getting my CNA and Adult& Pediatric/CPR/First Aide/AED and I also took a Nurse Extender Course and got signed off to take out IV's, take out Catheter's, take Blood Sugars. I have also worked with people on oxygen. I am a single mom, my daughter is my world. She is turning 12 years old in Aug. I worked at the Parents Morning Out Daycare at my Church for almost two years. My skills are: I can give bed bathes and help with showers, change linens, help feed the patient, help the patient when he or she needs to go to the bathroom, hair care, dental care, I can also help with transporting a patient, I can chart patient's records or information on any kind of computer, I speak some Spanish and type about 15 to 20 words a minute.
