Hi, my name is Tonja and I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself and my experience as a Caregiver. I grew up in Milan and graduated from Milan High School in 1985. In 2005, I graduated from West Tennessee Business College in Medical Assisting. In my free time, I enjoy making home decor from old barn wood and weaving baskets from different types of vines I find in the woods. As a Caregiver, I believe our seniors deserve respect and compassion. I am very down to earth, compassionate and always respectful. I'm very dependable and trustworthy and also a very good cook.

Hours: 9am-8pm Days: Fri-Sat-Sun My client was an 83-year-old retired Army veteran and he preferred his daily activities to be scheduled so the family had a managed care plan in place. There was a morning routine which included taking morning medication, bathing, dressing, breakfast and doctors appointments if scheduled. The afternoon routine included medication, lunch, meal planning, grocery shopping and errands. This also included housekeeping and laundry. I assisted him with outdoor activities like cleaning the yard and pool. The evening schedule included medication, dinner, bedtime and finishing up on housecleaning. Dinner meals were cooked every other day.

Hours: 8am-5pm Days: Mon-Fri My client was an 80-year-old gentleman with Cerebral Palsey and Dysarthria, which made it difficult for him to communicate. He was also confined to a wheelchair. The daily routine included bathing, dressing, laundry, housecleaning, errands and grocery shopping. When weather permitted, we took walks/rides (wheelchair) around the neighborhood. We also played dominoes.
