My level of expertise is like no other; Effortlessly, I always go above and beyond for my clients. Ever since the age of five years old when my Mom asked me what I wanted to become and my answer was "Mom, I want to be a Doctor because I want to take care of old people and I love them" and of course she laughed. My mother would have been proud of me when I achieved my licensed (CNA) and knowing that it does not stop there since I was already enrolled in a nursing program in College and eventually I will go back since I took a long break after she passed. I am a very caring, kind, intelligent, respectful, and responsible. As for what attracted me to be a care giver is I see so many articles and shows on tv showing all of these residents being abused and it broke my heart and I wanted to make a difference so I decided to go to a technical high school were I got my CNA as well as all of my other certifications. What I enjoy most about being a care giver is the smiles I get when I do even the littlest thing s for my residents I am not saying it is always easy or picture perfect but I think of my residents as family members and treat them exactly how I would treat my own family member because you always have to think they did not ask to be in there situation and that is what I always refer back to. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is I went to a technical high school and got all of my certifications there and now am currently attending a university to further my education while working per diem. As well as currently looking for a full time job so I can continue helping people while also saving money for college.

I am very compassionate and have the heart to take care of individuals like they are my family. I work well independently, I am very caring and willing to help them keep their dignity. I am very pleasant to be around, great communication skills and I like to leave knowing I made a difference or made them smile while I was in their presence. What attracted me was when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and she needed 24 hour care. Just the look of happiness to know that someone cared to provide care for her was all I needed to know this is what I wanted to do. My personal achievement is being able to use what I am learning in nursing school to my job. My resident was confused for a few days and acting out of character and I told them to check for a urinary tract infection and that is what she had.
