What makes me a good caregiver is empathy and a caring heart. What attracted me to caregiving was a need for a compassionate caregiver for a family member of my own and what a difference it made in a difficult situation. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is helping people/ families it connects me to others and their gratitude is so rewarding it lets me know I'm doing the right thing.
