Hi my name is Decoda I am a Certified nursing assistant and also a home health aide I have in total 12 years experience working in patient house, nursing home and also hospital and assisted living facility , I work in some of New York top hospitals such a New York Presbyterian Hospital and Mount Sinai and also private duty nursing , I have work with patients that have Alzheimer's, Multiple sorosis, stoke , quadriplegic, cancer etc and also providing companion care. As a Cna my job description include bathing and dressing my patients monitoring there vital sign , meal preparation , light house cleaning , running errand , doctors appointment, administering medication , changing Foley catheter , wound care and reporting any changes to patient family or doctor. I began caregiving because growing up, I had a parent that looked to me for support. That stuck with me and really let me see how much my help supported another person to live their life more fully. I enjoy getting to know new people and know everyone has a story. I like to use my abilities;as small as they may seem to me, may be a larger help to someone else sometimes.If I could work and bring my cat with me that would be great. I feel working with mentally disabled individuals and other illnesses has opened my eyes to how amazing people can be and how much they can shine with just a great support team. I feel my clients help me just as much as I help them. I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.

I specialize in homecare, but I have worked 1:1 with a broad range of clients and patients from ages 0-105 years old. I have worked with geriatric clients in different facilities like, ALF, ACF, ADLF, SNF and more. I obtained my CNA certificate in 1997 from a well known community college.
