I love being a caregiver/CNA. I've been a CNA for over 25 years. It gives me alot of pleasure taking care of the elderly. I'm a very caring & compassionate person. The reason why I started becoming a caregiver was because my brother just got diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I used to take care of him before he went into the nursing home. I'm very hard working & enjoy listening to my clients history, for example where they are from & what they used to do for a living. I would treat your loved one like I would my own with up most respect. I really enjoy getting to know my clients & I feel like they are part of my family. If I can make them smile & laugh then I know I'm doing my job because some of my clients don't have much family or friends & they get very lonely & depressed. My personal achievement is taking care of sick & elderly patients.

I'm a great care giver , really out going,y whole life has revolved around the elderly and mentally challenged, amongst alot of other training I. Have went through I've been a CNA since 1995 and before that my mom wAs an LPN while I was growing up and I've always stood by her side when caring for all situations and I don't give up easy, I will do what it takes to accomplish the job

I became a cna because I love to help people , and to make them feel loved and comfortable knowing someone cares and us there to help them , if I can make one little difference in somebody's life or even day then I can lay my head at night knowing that I did my very best, I'm a kind and very caring person I put others need first.

I've worked in almost every aspect of nursing. For over 20 years . At this time I'm working in home health care . I received my Cna license in Florida in 2006. I have a certification in cpr and my tb tests are all complete and up to date

I love caring for others, always have. I feel good about myself knowing I am responsible for the comfort of others. I have worked with all ages and especially like hospice care. I have eorked in facilities, but would rather work one on one so I can give all my attention and that means quality care.

I started working with patients as a dietary aide in a hospital. Interacting with them made me want to do more to help them. I took the Nursing Assistant classes through the hospital and worked with them as a nurse assist for a year and a half. Decided to get my certification to open my career opportunities. Been certified for a year. Helping people with every day activities makes me feel like I made a good difference in thier day. I always disliked these about me sections, do I tell the truth and come off arrogant or do you ignore it and seem dull? I will tell you what references and former employers have said about me in letter of recommendations or what they would likely say about me. I have a heart so big and am so caring, if someone cuts me off, and everyone else is upset yelling at them, I'm the one saying" they may be in a hurry" or " maybe they didn't see us. I have always, since I was a child, been focused, dependable and caring. I like to think I provide better services then most because your loved one is not a job, a client, a patient, they are someone's mother, father, sister, brother, uncle, friend and once I am to brought into care for them they are my family. I have went out in the middle of the night to check on my new found loved ones, I check on them on my days off. I am their loved ones eyes and ears when they aren't able to be there and I do for them the same as I would want for my loved ones. I have glowing recommendations from local Doctors, and many local families that I have worked for in the past, that I have continued to stay close with, many being considered my new families. I have 5 years medically training from working with Dementia patients to ALS. I have experience with catheters, peritoneal cathethers, feeding tubes, Loved ones needing physical therapy or just companionship. I will float on the fact I am a great cook, my parents owned restaurants growing up, so I grew up cooking: I am very dependable only missing one day of work at my last employers in 3 years, and it was because of bad weather and their road was closed due to a bad car wreck. I also work with a wonderful group of qualified ladies so together we can accommodate any hours needed and cover for one another if one ever has an emergency, so dependability is guaranteed.
