Hello I'm 45 single no kids been in healthcare field for over 20 years I love helping clients and I lost my dad too lung cancer is how I first started in home care services

What makes me a great caregiver my heart is about the client and they care and well bein and making sure they are cared for properly and have a companionship with there making it about them letting them know they are still loved and no matter what I'm there for any needs to be met by them I became a caregiver because I use to go to work with my mom and watch her care for her clients and I always told myself I wanted to be someone who could be there for someone who could not be there for themselves and I want them to know I'm there for them and they are like family to me in anyways to be I being doing this over 20 yrs I have well experience caring for patients in there homes in the assist facilities and nursing home home I even worked in group homes I know how to use the hoyer lift and transfers meal prep dealing with medication reminders and doing the medication ADL for the clients cooking, cleaning , grooming went to the Doctor appointments and having a companionship with them letting them know it's about them and not me because my duty is to make sure they are comfortable

[2] high skills care for critical cases such as ALS, PSP, stroke or quadriplegia. Bed bound/immobile care, wound care assistance. Feeding tubes, med management, glucose checks and insulin injections, Foley, super pubic catheters, colostomy care.

I became a caregiver because, I like taking care of the elder as I use to do for my grandmother. As they grow older they are more cheerful and like someone to be around them. i have achieve a lot as a caregiver, making my residents warm, comfortable and happy. I am more concern about anyone I take care of as they need us most as ever.

I had a friend who's mother was in a nursing home with dementia and her mother wondered out of the nursing home and was almost hit by a car. Since then, I developed this great part of caring for the elderly and naturally, I'm a loving and caring person. Just being able to see my client smile all day and to lighten their day up. Makes me joyful. I was able to get a client who was a diabetic, hypertensive, wounds, etc. Who was on serveral medications for various condition. Cut back on most of the medications and the doctors where amaz. Just pleases my heart. Most of all my dependebility.

I have 20yrs experience in caregiver/companion. I started working as a caregiver after my father had a stroke and heart attack and i had no one to help me care for him. After my father passed away, i became committed to helping other family and it became my GOD GIFT to care for my clients with as much of love as it was my own family member. It give me great pleasure taking care of peoples. This is not just a job for me but a blessing!!! I love to be a caregiver because my grandparents was very old and I took good care of them ,I love to be around Senior citizen because I love them so much also love old stories. I am a person that care for people. my grandparents was very old I decided to take that step and take good care of them . And also I am a mother of 4 kids I know how it is when people don't take good care of your loved ones,For that reason I put myself into that position to take good care of people.

I'm very passionate and a great companion. My grandmother passed away with cancer when I was 15 years old. I helped take care of her also, I always said when I get older "I'm going to take care of the elderly " been doing it since 2006. I love it plus get to meet some interesting people and their family. I love what I do and can be a great asset to your love one.
