My name is Aleisha Broussard, many call me Lei (lay) for short. I have worked as a caregiver of both adolescence and geriatric patients for many years. I was raised volunteering at nursing homes and children care centers and have maintained a passion for caregiving since. I cared for my grandmother with Alzheimer's while she was in hospice and find that continuing to nurture others in need brings me peace. I have been married for a year, and my husband and I just welcomed our first child. My hopes are to teach him the importance of caregiving as he ages and loving those around us.
