I was an assistant in nursing homes and assisted living facilities through High School and college but went into broadcasting. When I left my career I took a cross-country road trip that ended in a 2-month stay with my elderly, disabled aunt. It reignited the love for caretaking. I enjoy getting to know the clients, hearing their history and about their life and families. I love helping people remain active and aware as long as possible.
