Medical assistant helper: assist all patients with vitals, temps, giving medications, call in refills and all other nursing duties including giving injections as requested by provider. I take care of the bosses mother who is 84. She is a wonderful women , unable to communicate and is an amputee on left leg. Help change pt and bedding daily2 times a day, sponge bath, change diaper hourly, feed pt 3 times a day, light house keeping and cooking. Taking medications and send in refills. Read and interact with pt with stories and laughter and wheel chair walks.

I'm very responsive to patients needs, sometimes you have to pay attention and observe, a lot of the time they either can't or won't Express to you what they may need or be feeling. I've always felt in my heart to care for others, it just comes naturally to me, id help a stranger. I am always willing to modify to meet their particular needs...personal achievement I'm 57yrs and i still love doing this more than any other type of job I've ever had.
