I work overnights at a group home caring for clients with different physical and mental disabilities. My clients diagnosis include cerebral palsy, dementia, schizophrenia, and autism. My duties include nightly cleaning the house by sanitizing furniture, countertops, doorknobs and switches. Sweeping and mopping floors and prepping meals for the next day. I monitor my clients sleeping and wake them up to go to the bathroom if needed to prevent accidents. My client with cerebral palsy I transfer from her bed to her wheelchair to the toilet and back again every night, and make sure she is on the toilet by 6am for the morning staff when they arrive. I also prepare breakfast for the clients following the recipe plan given. I record when clients get up in the night and what they did while they were up and when they went back to bed. One of my clients who has schizophrenia and dementia I have QBS training and I have to redirect her from her fantasies and keep her and the other clients safe from her. I have had to clean up urine and feces accidents during the night. Due to her refusing to go to the bathroom or not making it in time. I have had to use my skills to calmly redirect her and convince her to take showers when she soils herself. I have QBS training, CPR training, First Aid training, and am trained to administer medications to clients.

I greeted customers as they approached the counter and typed in prescriptions sent in by doctors. I filled prescriptions to be verified and approved by the pharmacist. I organized inventory and stocked medications from the truck.
