I became a caregiver because I believe I bring a sense of security and strength to patients that need a strong individual to rely on. Both emotionally and physically. I like being able to set minds at ease. The chronically sick and terminal patients need a strong and positive person to look to in times of need. Be it a shoulder to cry on or a shoulder to lean on I believe I can provide both. Professionally and on a personal level. The achievement I am most proud of is my courage to make a career change so late in my working life. I was unhappy and my health was suffering from stress in the printing and marketing career I was in. When the last company I worked for went out of business I decided to do what I loved and change careers to caring for the sick and handicapped. I am a health conscious male. I am single with no children. I do volunteer working with abandoned and abused dogs and cats. Fostering them and helping to find permanent homes. I work out 3 times a week and enjoy running with my two pugs.
