At this facility I greet patients as they walk in, obtain the necessary information and documentation and insert it into the system, while making sure that all information is accurate. I schedule appointments, request referrals, verify insurances, assist with prescriptions and prescription instructions if needed, as well as requesting patients medical records, and accommodating the most urgent appointments into the schedule. I take notes for every call making sure that communication amongst my peers is clear to best assist the patients needs. I also translate for Spanish speaking patients and assist the Dr's. with translating English to the patients. I handle the Spanish calls and appointments as well. I understand that customer service is key to keeping business and making sure that everyone one is happy. This also includes assisting the elderly and disabled patients as well. Everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and care. My professional goals are met everyday knowing that I did my best in assisting the patients and that they felt cared for and happy when they walk out.

At Nexion my days consist of waking up the residents getting them out of bed changing their linens and their clothing cleaning them up and getting them ready for breakfast and their activities or other meals for the day according to their dietary needs. I assist some with eating showers and toileting and others are independent. I make sure that all residents in my hall are clean and well kept. I love my job so I always make sure to show them love and care at all times as if they were my own relatives. I report all or any situations that need to be documented to the RN so that they can be attended to to keep the best care for the residents. Through this company I have received my CNA training I am experienced and registered for my state test for May of 2022.
