My name is Angela I am 34 yrs old, I'm an honest, christian girl. I'm a hard worker,easy going and patient and loyal. I became interested in being a caregiver while taking the CNA program for extra points to go towards going to LVN school. I realized how difficult it can be to become an elderly person and lose control of things that you use to have control over or lose senses you used to have. I want to be able to assist and help someone with their activities of daily living to the best of my ability to help the resident enjoy the rest of their life to the fullest. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love getting to know the resident and hearing the stories from their past and i can also go home at the end of a shift knowing I might put a little light in their life even though they maybe having a hard time with their aging process . I have a couple personal achievements that I am proud of, One would be setting my mind and working hard to lose 30lbs in 6 months time and two would be realizing even though I am 34 its never to late to go back to school and do something your passionate about.
