I just retired from the military on 31 October 2015 after 29.5 years of service. During my time of service I had many elderly family members that died and I was unable to be there for them due to my service obligations. Now that I'm retired....I want to give someone the care that I was unable to give to my family. I have much love, care, listening and talking skills to give alone with whatever else that's needed for the person that I'm providing care for. I am willing to go for walks with the client, cook for them, take them grocery shopping, help them with whatever else they need help with except cleaning poop. I will treat the person that I'm caring for the way I want to be treated when I am in the need of assistance. Before I joined the military in 1986, I worked in a Nursing Home for 6 months.
