Hi Ive been in the medical field in various levels of patient care over 35 years. I have prenursing training and education , Im a registered Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant, much more than a CNA. After caring for my 95 year old mom for 6 years; the realization needing an xtra hand, if nothing else to get a break , was challenging to locate a professional quality caregiver that actually knew what they were doing, and were reliable. It's important to have a good fit with your reliable caregiver. In order to achieve quality care, the well-being , help maintain as much independence as possible, and mentally stimulation; plus provide comfortably safe environment is crucial. I offer a variety of shifts, days, and nights, over-night and weekends /holidays stays, to assist, and provide that much needed break to the full time family caregivers. Especially if you are on your own and need a helping hand till you recover, I'm there for you. I enjoy making a difference helping those that really need it. If it will help you stay home versus a skilled facility I'll be there to assist where I can. I take pride in being punctual, accomplishing the tasks at hand, and providing you peace of mind you have someone you can rely upon. I'm very responsive to patients needs, sometimes you have to pay attention and observe, a lot of the time they either can't or won't Express to you what they may need or be feeling. I've always felt in my heart to care for others, it just comes naturally to me, id help a stranger. I enjoy caregiving because it gives me a great satisfaction to be in the medical field and help others when they sometimes can't help themselves, I've work with patients, dementia, Alzheimer's, stroke, Parkinson's, broken limbs, diabetes, M.S (multiple sclerosis) I've taken care of patients that have had hip and back surgery.,i know how to use a blood pressure cuff read and write log, empty catheter Foley, administrator meds as needed, bath, dress, i know how to turn someone who is bed ridden, i know how to transfer bed to wheelchair vise versa I'm a very quick study, every patient is different in their needs and care. I am always willing to modify to meet their particular needs...personal achievement I'm 57yrs and i still love doing this more than any other type of job I've ever had.
