Hi, I am Tamika; it's a pleasure to meet you. I have provided professional, private-duty, non-medical assistance for the past four-and-a-half years. My primary inspiration to become a caregiver was one of my clients. Having patience, compassion, empathy, and a genuine heart to do so, I worked for my client as a house manager and assistant before my client fell ill. During the time following his illness, he preferred me to care for him. At first, I was thinking that I did not know enough to do this task well. However, seeing that he was not getting the proper care and assistance he needed from hired caregivers, I began to take care of him myself. As time passed, and as I learned more and more about the field, I realized, hey, this is my calling - destined to be. I realized that I enjoy using my passion and gift to inspire and uplift others and keep them safe - bringing them comfort and nourishment to their souls with peace, love, and light.
