Since I was young I wanted to be either a doctor or a teacher and for sure I've followed by calling. I just feel good when I help people (young or older) and I love taking care of my husband and daughter. I have a BA in English, some nursing studies and translating and interpreting in different settings (medical, education, social work). I have worked in nursing homes, hospital, assisted living facilities and schools. I've given care to patients, taken blood pressure, bathed, fed, changed diapers, cleaned colostomy stoma, ulcers, changed feeding tubes... I've been in the field of education since 2006 and a Bilingual Special Education Teacher Assistant for the past 10 years. Because of my job and my past experiences dealing with people, I have developed a special attention to details and ability to solve problems. I consider myself an energetic, confident, patient, observant, empathetic, compassionate, dependable, trustworthy, competent, honest attentive, and resourceful person of sound judgement.
