My name is Tanner Russon, I have grown up in Utah and absolutely love the people and environment here. I'm an optimistic caregiver with an emergency medical technician and basic life support/CPR certification. I love meeting new people and doing all that I can to make their life enjoyable and more comfortable. My favorite part of being a care giver is know my daily efforts are making a difference in at least one individuals life. I'm currently studying nursing to purse my deep love and passion of overall health and wellness.

I never intended to become a caregiver. I fell into the position through a friend's connection and discovered that I absolutely love it (and I am amazing at it!) I am a trained and skilled healthcare provider with a background in biomechanics and rehabilitation. I have reliable transportation, am intelligent and good at managing schedules and appointments, and I have a cheerful, fun personality. I am responsible, reliable and mature. As a caregiver, I have found it incredibly rewarding to insert myself into a home that was struggling just to get by day to day, and help bring order and flow. Watching the progress my patient has made over the past few months is one of the most rewarding experience of my life. When I can see that other's lives are better because of me, it warms my soul. I am proud that I have nearly worked myself out of a job. My current position is with a recovering stroke patient. When I first started working with him, he needed help simply getting from his chair into his wheelchair. Now he is walking unassisted, dressing himself, and toileting alone. I love this family, but my days there are numbered (in a good way!).
